Elna is an acclaimed journalist, content creator and creative consultant passionate about culture and society, be it politics, food, fashion, design or our ever evolving and fascinating way of living. She is a contributor for several leading media, including Konfekt, Monocle, Helsingin Sanomat and DAMN Magazine, and also consults Nordic companies and organizations, such as Kasthall, design agency Fyra and the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs on communications, strategy and content. She has written a book, Kära Sverige, combining Swedish recipes and personal essays, and her writing has also been published in publications such as Wallpaper Stockholm City Guide and Plaza magazine.
In addition to writing, Elna has a long career as a broadcaster and diplomat. She has worked as a news anchor for Sweden’s leading news programme Rapport and was, between 2019-2024, Finland’s press and culture councellor in Sweden. She holds a Master’s degree in communications and political science from the University of Helsinki and a Master of Arts in screenwriting from the National Film and Television School in the UK. Elna is a Finnish and Swedish national and now lives in Stockholm.
