Hei!

I’m a Finnish native working in Sweden as the Press Councellor at Finland’s embassy in Stockholm. Until March 2019 I held the position of Stockholm Correspondent at Monocle and worked as an editor and writer at the Swedish content agency OTW. Before that I was employed at SVT, Sweden’s public broadcaster, as an editor and news anchor. I am also the author of several books on food, design and travel, most recently a cookbook on Swedish cuisine and food culture called Kära Sverige (Cozy Publishing, 2018)

I have written current affairs, culture, social commentary, style, travel and food pieces and profiles for clients including Monocle, Wallpaper City Guides, Scandinavian Traveler, Visit Sweden, Plaza, SVT, Mondo, Korean Air, Nylon and Agence France Presse.

As a broadcaster, I have hosted live events such as galas, festivals and press launches and worked as a news presenter for several years, including anchoring Sweden's leading news program Rapport.

I work in English, Swedish and Finnish and cover all manner of Nordic things – but I also like to travel and report home about exciting discoveries abroad.
